At the finish: “We broke the throttle cable at the start of the 2nd stage this morning. We have now driven 2 stages with the co-driver operating the accelerator through the window. This has proven a very interesting last few hours. An experiment not worth repeating”
SS48: Have broken throttle - co-driver holding a cord out the window - pull to go. Have to be a pretty trusting driver!
