Eligibility: FIA Historic status or MSNZ Certificate of Description (or equivalent).
Competition Format
Special stages - fastest cumulative time wins. Winner: Overall Silver Fern title comes from the Historic field.

Drivetrain: Historic 2WD; Classic 4WD has its own class. Seven days, hundreds of kilometres.
